On one hand, when you have Curt Schilling, the biggest folk hero of the 2004 World Series run and one of the creators of the “Why not us?” slogan for that Red Sox team, doesn’t think you’re version of the Red Sox have the guts to make the playoffs, that’s probably not a good sign for your baseball team.
On the other hand, my only Red Sox jersey in my closet right now is a Curt Schilling jersey and I feel a little ashamed about wearing it right now.
