Curt Schilling is like a super hero in a comic book. Just when you think he's down for the count, he finds some way to throw himself back into the picture and vanquish his foes.
Curt underwent his shoulder surgery yesterday and Dr. Morgan said that #38 can begin some light throwing in as little as 4 months. The rotator cuff hadn't torn like they thought it did and the surgery was declared a success. Schilling could be pitching off a mound by January at the earliest.
Not to spit in the face of Red Sox management and doctors but wouldn't the situation have been solved if they had let Curt undergo the surgery months ago?
