OAKLAND -- Jack Cust hit two homers and drove in four runs, and Landon Powell added a three-run homer in helping the A's beat the Detroit Tigers 9-4 Sunday. Brett Tomko (3-2) pitched a three-hitter over six innings, walking two and striking out eight. He's won both of his starts with the A's after appearing in 15 games with the New York Yankees. Cliff Pennington homered and Rajai Davis also drove in a run for the A's. Miguel Cabrera had three hits, including his 200th home run, and drove in two as the Tigers lost their second in a row. Curtis Granderson homered, and Marcus Thames added a pinch-hit RBI single. Cabrera is the fifth player from Venezuela with at least 200 homers, joining Tony Armas, Bobby Abreu, teammate Magglio Ordonez and Andres Galarraga.
