Padres off days are always long. I personally don't watch a lot of TV to begin with, but when I do it's usually because the Padres are playing. When I have it on I will mute it and do other things like read or something along those lines. Last night I didn't get to have that option with the off day. It feels like the Padres haven't been playing for a few days with the afternoon get away game on Wednesday. But now the team is on the road and will be playing 13 games before their next off day. This does include coming back home for a six game homestand. First up is three games in Pittsburgh, followed by 4 games against the Braves in Atlanta. Then we head home (without a day off) to take on the Giants and the Pirates. Notice how all those teams are making a playoff run? Yeah these games could be very interesting.
