Adam Everett’s days as a Detroit Tiger are reportedly over. Everett was designated for assignment on Sunday while Danny Worth was recalled from AAA Toledo.
Danny Worth has played eight games with Toledo since returning from his stint with the Tigers and has hit 0.344 in those games. He hit for a good average while with the Tigers but showed no power and did not draw a walk in his 25 plate appearance. Worth’s value comes with his glove as he is looks smooth in either middle infield position.
