I almost didn’t write a post about tonight’s game. My evening started when I was rear-ended leaving work. I’m fine, but the car needs work. Not fun. And then I got home, hoping to settle in with a beer and baseball, but my MLB.tv kept buffering and I could not find an opener for my beer (moving problems). After some frustration-born tears, I opened the beer with a can opener and suffered through the buffering broadcast.
It was worth it.
Yu Darvish had a heck of a night out there on the mound. He struck out ten batters in seven innings. The Mariners could barely get on base, let alone score, thanks to Darvish and some great defense behind him. Robbie Ross and Michael Kirkman finished it out.
