New Chicago Cubs President Theo Epstein has long coveted outfielder David DeJesus, a non-spectacular but solid player. Finally, after several years of trying to acquire him, Epstein inked DeJesus to a 2-year $10 million deal to become the new right fielder for the Cubs. I think I know why Theo has been so hard after David all this time, the lovely KIM DeJesus. Looks like the Cubs family events just got hotter!I know little about her besides that she's gorgeous, likes posting hot pictures of herself on Twitter, and frankly, I don't need much more than that. Once again, I'll let JT do all the talking.[Kim DeJesus]{gallery}agallery/december/kimdejesus{/gallery}

David DeJesus a Great Fit for the Cubs
About a month ago, I ranked David DeJesus as the fourth best available free agent centerfielder. DeJesus only started six games in center for the A’s last season, but my inclusion of him in the centerfield ranks was more due to the lack of free agent depth at that position than anything else. Here’s what I wrote in my free agent primer…

Theo can handle checkbook as badly as Hendry
Steve Rosenbloom: Theo Epstein isn't just a guy with a pocket protector and the most finely sharpened No. 2 pencils in the game. He has played the money-whipping game and has been handed Tom Ricketts' keys to the vault, two reasons why the ludicrous idea of signing Albert Pujols or Prince Fielder could make sense.
