David Ortiz put on the Disabled List

The MRI on David Ortiz's left wrist is showing ligament damage and he will possibly be out for at least a month as the team put him on the 15-day DL tonight. It's a partial tear and is reminiscent of what Nomar went through when he was having injury problems in Boston. Big Papi will be in a soft cast for a bit while the team hopes that the rest helps his wrist. If it doesn't, then he MIGHT need season ending surgery but that is obviously a last resort.
