They also tied their season-high for hits in an inning with seven. The seven runs scored in that inning were more than the team had scored in a game dating back to June 28, 2011. The Mets have now won 11 of 17, and are 35-45 on the season — in fourth place in the NL East, 12 1/2 games behind the first-place Braves. The Diamondbacks have lost a season-high five in a row, and are now 42-41 — remaining in first place in the NL West, but only a game ahead of the Rockies. The Mets snapped a streak of 30 consecutive home games without scoring more than five runs, a National League record....
