There's nothing greater than being on the road, playing your rivals, and hearing absolutely nothing (except cheers from Dodger fans) after Matt Kemp destroys one over the center field wall.

Eric Stults was sent down to make room for Charlie Haeger. He'll serve as the backup to Jeff Weaver in tomorrows game. My question? Why not just start Haeger to begin with? Even if Weaver is actually good, he's going to go 4-5 innings max, and then Haeger has to pitch anyway. So why not just start with Haeger, who can actually go 9 innings if needed? I'm guessing it has something to do with age.
