Ryan Dempster picked his son up at school, and then he got to play with him on the field at the ballpark. It was just like the old days. Just at a different ballpark and wearing a different uniform. Dempster was back in Chicago on Monday when the Boston Red Sox opened a three-game series against the White Sox. It was Dempster's first game in the city as a visiting player since he was traded from the Cubs to the Texas Rangers on July 31. Dempster says he loved his nine years with the Cubs and called it a first-class organization. The 36-year-old Dempster signed a $26.5 million, two-year contract with Boston over the winter, and Red Sox manager John Farrell says the right-hander has provided another veteran presence on the pitching staff.

Jacoby Ellsbury May Be Dropped Lower in Red Sox Lineup

Jacoby Ellsbury, near MVP in 2011 and owner of an injury plagued campaign in 2012, may be getting dropped out of the leadoff spot shortly in the Red Sox lineup. A.B. I know Playgirl was trying to paint Remy as...
