MLB News: The Detroit Tigers recalled Bruce Rondon on Tuesday from Triple-A Toledo to fill the void left when the organization had to place Octavio Dotel on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow inflammation  Rondon will fill in for late inning relief and depending on how things go, could eventually win the closer’s job outright with the Tigers. Fantasy Ramifications: While there is no certainty in what will happen with Rondon this year, with all of the ups and downs that he has been having with his control during the 2013 season, this is a great opportunity for him to shine. Pick him up if you have the space on your roster as if he does win the closer’s job, he finds himself on a team that will be in plenty of winning opportunities. Don’t expect a miracle, but he could provide a solid closer or decent trade bait if all goes well.
