The Good These days Placido Polanco is resembling well… Placido Polanco.
In his last 10 games Polanco is 19-for-48 and batting .396, raising his average on the season to a more respectable .276. Sunday afternoon's clutch single in the eighth inning brought in the go-ahead run.
Polanco was my pick to turn things around after the All-Star break on our Mid-Season Report Card. Let’s hope the career .300 hitter remains hot as he is an important part of our offense.
One thing is certain, as of late Poly is on FIRE!
The Bad Brandon Inge is slowly changing his name back to Brandon Cringe.
Since the All-Star break he is just 14-for-74 which equates to a robust .189.
During that time Mr. Cringe has hit just ONE HOME RUN, STRUCK OUT 27 TIMES and walked just seven times.
That new mustache is coming in nicely though…right!
His respectable season average of .268 has fallen to .252.
To top it off someone somewhere is commenting on how great it is th...
