Found April 28, 2013 on MLB Injury News:
The Arizona Diamondbacks received some good news regarding Jason Kubel yesterday, but the news surrounding Didi Gregorius' injury is a little more neutral.  Kubel is expected to rejoin the Diamondbacks on May 1st.  Gregorius feels fine but has not yet been cleared to play, and he could still land on the 7-day DL. Gregorius said he feels a little sore. Told his CT scan looked good. Going to meet with team doctor before they decide on 7-day DL or not. — Nick Piecoro (@nickpiecoro) April 27, 2013 Gregorius was hit in the head on Friday and has been held out of game action since.  Most players hit in the head will receive additional evaluation because of MLB's increased focus on concussions.  This is why the league created the 7-day DL for concussions.  However, Gregorius and the DBacks hope he can avoid any DL stint. Gregorius got his shot this season when Aaron Hill went down with an injury.  Gregorius had a nice spring, but he was not slated to get his chance this early in the season.  The Reds had used him late in the year last year, so Gregorius' got his feet wet in the bigs before the trade that brought him to Arizona. In seven games this season, Gregorius is hitting .407/.448/.778 with two home runs.  That's a pretty impressive start, and one the team hopes does not get side-tracked by the injury. According to the Diamondbacks' official Twitter feed, Gregorius was placed...

Your browser does not support iframes. Didi Gregorius was hit in the head by a pitch from Josh Outman during the seventh inning of the Arizona Diamondbacks’ 6-3 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Friday night. Tony Campana steals three bases during one at bat

Former Chicago Cub Tony Campana is one of the fastest men in baseball. After being acquired by the Diamondbacks this winter, Campana lost out on his bid to make the major league roster, and is currently playing with AAA Reno. On Saturday night, Campana did something pretty cool in the Aces' game against the Fresno Grizzlies: he stole all three bases in one inning. Furthermore...

Arizona Diamondbacks Activate Outfielder Jason Kubel

The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Jason Kubel from the 15-day disabled list. Instead of playing a few rehab games in the minors, the Diamondbacks thought it would be best to get his bat into the lineup sooner-rather-than-later. Finding more power as he ages gracefully in baseball terms, Kubel had 30 home runs in 2012. The post Arizona Diamondbacks Activate Outfielder...

Minor Leaguer Tony Campana steals second, third and home in same at-bat (VIDEO)

via milb.com Over the 2011 and ’12 seasons with the Chicago Cubs, speedy outfielder Tony Campana stole 54 bases in 59 attempts.  That may not seem like a lot, but considering that he only reached base 106 times through those two years, the ratio is crazy.  In other words, he stole a bag 51% of the time he got on base. Campana is now in the Diamondbacks system with Triple-A Reno...
