He wasn't actually injured. That's the good news for Arizona Diamondbacks fans. However, there was a brief period of fear and confusion as Wade Miley exited his spring game yesterday a full inning earlier than he was scheduled to.
Nick Piercoro of the Arizona Republic pointed it out on Twitter:
Expected #Dbacks LHP Wade Miley to go three innings but he's out after two. Will ask about that after the game. 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K.

Piercoro followed up after the game and confirmed Miley exited simply because of pitch count. He had thrown a lot of pitches in his two innings of work and was yanked.
Miley is entering his second full year in the Majors. He finished second in National League Rookie of the Year voting last season. Miley went 16-11 with a 3.33 ERA. He was dominant at times, but he also struggled like most rookies do. The Diamondbacks should get a solid contribution out of him this season.
