The Editors of FenwayNation have named second baseman Dustin Pedroia to be their May Player Of The Month. Pedroia batted .336 for the month, with three home runs and 18 RBIs. The Muddy Chicken had a .398 OBP and an OPS of .894. In addition, he had 40 hits in the month and 22 runs scored. Despite his newly-revealed thumb injury, Pedroia led the team by playing in thirty May games. Not to mention Gold-Glove level play at second base. Not surprisingly, the guy we named the 2012 Player Of The Year is now our 2103 May Player of the Month. Congratulations, Dustin!
