Embree, Power Rankings, and MLB Tweets

Alan Embree has been called up to the Red Sox as Fabio Castro's short time with the Red Sox comes to and end. (no pun intended) The new Bloguin blogpoll MLB Power Rankings are out and the Red Sox are not near the top. Major League Baseball is finding a way to screw up a good thing by not allowing MLB.com beat writers and player to tweet about anything that is not baseball related.  Twitter allows people to get to know the beat writers and players personalities from the things they tweet about, taking that away is a silly plan.  This must be all Bud's idea.  Send @IanMBrowne your thoughts on the issue but don't expect him to respond.
