End of Season Review: Freddy Sanchez

To be perfectly honest since the beginning I have not been Freddy Sanchez's biggest fan. I thought the cost to acquire him was too high (in hindsight it looks like the Giants got the better end of the deal). I thought the extension he signed was misguided after he was injured at the end of his first stint with the Giants. I went into a tizzy after it was announced that he wouldn't be back with the team until mid May. So long story short, Freddy Sanchez played an important role in bringing the Giants a World Series trophy and for that all the other stuff matters a whole lot less.
