Former Seattle Mariners outfielder Milton Bradley was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles on suspicion of felony battery.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the arrest occurred at the same address where Bradley was arrested in January for allegedly making a criminal threat against an unidentified woman.
The temperamental outfielder, who was cut by the Mariners in mid-May, was released on $50,000 bail. He is due back in court on Feb. 8.
Bradley, who has had repeated clashes with management and umpires during a turbulent 12-year career, was arrested in November 2004 following an alleged confrontation with a police officer in Ohio.
He was released by the Mariners after batting just .218 with two home runs and 13 RBIs this season. Prior to getting cut loose, he was suspended one game for bumping an umpire, ejected for arguing strikes and booed at home by fans for a perceived lack of effort.
