Jonathan Sanchez got a win before Lincecum, Bumgarner and Cain. He also got two wild pitches before those three got any, so something's still right in the world.

Of course, this script was written before Sunday’s game, which was the exact opposite.  The first few innings were great, and it was all downhill from there.

Heaven help the Giants when they’re looking to Barry Zito at Coors Field to be their saviors.

A lot went wrong this weekend.  The specifics don’t matter.  The team needs to play better.  Bottom line, from Buster Posey to Brandon Belt to Jeremy Affeldt.

Because Coors Field isn’t going to be any more forgiving this week.
