I admit — I was more than a little nervous about Neftali Feliz’ move to the rotation.  I’m not completely cured of those nerves yet (it’s a long season), but tonight was a step in the right direction. Feliz threw 108 pitches in seven scoreless innings. He allowed just two walks and four hits, but struck out four.  His change-up was working really nicely for him tonight.  Good to see that from him.  Really good. I could get used to outings like this.  I know there will be growing pains, but this was a really nice beginning.  I have hope for the young pitcher. The offense didn’t offer much help to Feliz though. They scored once in the 2nd when David Murphy singled to plate Michael Young. But Murphy was the only one really doing anything with the bat tonight.  He was 3 for 3 with a single and two doubles.  But the Rangers couldn’t capitalize on his two big hits.  Adrian Beltre was 2 for 4 at the plate, and Elvis Andrus and Josh Hamilton each had one hit.  Ian Kinsler took a walk.  The ...
