The Mets lost to the Nationals by a score of 3-2 tonight at Citi Field. For a full recap and box score, check out SNY.tv. The Least You Should Know: R.A. Dickey threw seven innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on eight hits and no walks, while striking out seven. David Wright and Angel Pagan combined to go 2-for-6 with two runs batted in. Wright also committed his sixth error in the past seven games. The last Met with that many errors in a seven game span was Jeff Kent at third base in 1996. Jason Bay was hit less in four plate appearances snapping a ten game hitting streak. Jose Reyes did not collect a hit in four at-bats, ending his hitting streak at 14 games. The Mets were just 3-for-28 on the night. Up Next: The Mets will continue their four game series with the Nationals tomorrow night at 7:10 pm, with Dillon Gee taking on Chien-Ming Wang.
