Florida Marlins: Alex Sanabia, Sean West among 11 roster moves

The Marlins made several roster moves Wednesday morning. They optioned right-handers Steve Cishek and Alex Sanabia, left-handers Sean West and Dustin Richardson, and outfielder Bryan Petersen to Triple-A New Oreleans. They also optioned right-hander Sandy Rosario to Double-A Jacksonville. The following players were assigned to minor league camp: catchers Kyle Skipworth and Vinny Rottino, and right-handers Tom Koehler and Shawn Hill. Stanton suffered a quad strain in the Feb. 27 exhibition opener against the University of Miami and hasn’t played since.
