Reports indicate that Josh Fogg will be granted his full release ( source Daily News ), it's a shame that we couldn't keep Fogg, not for a current roster spot but more as a call-up candidate.Fogg is mentally tough and the Mets have too many fragile pitchers, he's the type of guy who his own teammates can be busting his chops and he'll go out, un-rattled to give you a decent outing.I wish they could have kept him around even if it was for his personality to rub off on the minor leaguers but really they didn't have a choice. Fogg wanted his release and you can't have a disgruntled veteran who's been forced to stay infecting your minor leagues.More importantly Fogg reminded me that not all of these injury situations are the Mets fault.
