It’s not that Francisco Rodriguez doesn’t like the city of Milwaukee or that he has a vegan diet that conflicts with the city’s beer & brat signature. It’s nothing like that. I don’t imagine he dislikes playing in games that matter either. A playoff berth doesn’t seem to matter to Francisco Rodriguez though because he’s so caught up in the fact that he’s not closing games. Apparently, the Milwaukee Brewers mapped out a plan that promised or assured the former New York Mets closer that he would still see save opportunities. I’m not sure what the degree of commitment was from the Milwaukee Brewers, but it must have been enough to get Francisco Rodriguez bent out of shape.
