What does 2011 hold for the Pittsburgh Pirates?

The Pittsburgh Pirates ”probably will lose 100 games,” said Jim Bowden in the video below. We aren’t sure you will learn much from what Bowden says, but nevertheless it inspires me to post these previews. We trust you enjoy them.

Bowden cites the Pirates pitching staff as the source of problems in 2011.

Jim Bowden really goes out on a limb with the word probably in his 2011 preview of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  He calls out Andrew McCutchen for a possible Gold Glove and likes the Fab Four of Cutch, Pedro, Tabata and Walker.

The downfall for the Bucs will be pitching.  He mentions outside of Paul Maholm and Ross Ohlendorf the weakness of the team will be pitching.

“Until the pitching is fixed, the Pirates will continue to be a losing organization.”  Jim Bowden, Fox Sports
