Braves Hall of Famers will take the field and fans will fill the stands on Friday, June 28, to pay tribute to Chipper Jones as the Braves retire Jones No. 10 and celebrate the career of one of the franchise's most beloved players of all time. Braves LIVE Special Edition: Chipper Jones Number Retirement will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Jerome Jurenovich, Brian Jordan, and Paul Byrd, with Tom Hart and Elizabeth Moreau. Commercial-free coverage of the Jones number retirement ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET and the Braves-Diamondbacks game will immediately follow the live ceremony coverage. Fans at the ballpark and watching from home can share their Chipper Jones memories and their photos from the days festivities via Twitter and Instagram by using the hashtag Thanks10. Fan photos and memories with Thanks10 will be shared on FoxSportsSouth.comSocial and select posts will be highlighted on the special Braves LIVE broadcast. On Tuesday, July 9, fans can relive Jones special day of honors, when SportSouth debuts Chipper Jones Number Retirement at 11 p.m. ET after Braves LIVE with encore presentations on Wednesday, July 10 at 11:30 a.m. and throughout the month. Jones number 10 will fittingly be the 10th Braves uniform number to be retired, joining Hank Aaron (44), Eddie Mathews (41), Dale Murphy (3), Phil Niekro (35), Warren Spahn (21), Greg Maddux (31), Tom Glavine (47), Bobby Cox (6) and John Smoltz (29). The Braves also retired the number 42 along with all Major League Baseball teams to honor Jackie Robinson. Earlier in the day on Friday, the Braves will induct Jones into the Braves Hall of Fame at a sold-out luncheon in downtown Atlanta. Jones will join Hank Aaron, Bill Bartholomay, Lew Burdette, Skip Caray, Bobby Cox, Del Crandall, Ralph Garr, Tom Glavine, Tommy Holmes, Ernie Johnson, David Justice, Herman Long, Bill Lucas, Greg Maddux, Eddie Mathews, Dale Murphy, Kid Nichols, Phil Niekro, John Sain, John Smoltz, Paul Snyder, Warren Spahn, Ted Turner, and Pete Van Wieren in the Braves Hall of Fame.
