Todd Frazier gave Reds fans plenty to smile about Wednesday.
For a time tonight it looked like the Reds were going to go
through another night sleep walking at the plate. Then the Mets bullpen came
into play and the Reds’ bats came alive in the eighth inning to secure a 6-3
win and move to 19-17 on the season. All the info on the night’s festivities

- Todd Frazier provided some hope that maybe third base won’t
be a black hole in the Reds lineup all season. After a miserable start to his
time as the everyday third baseman after Scott Rolen’s placement on the DL,
Frazier came alive with his first career two home run game, including a bomb to
straight away centerfield in the 8th.
- Mike Leake was the guy we’ve come to know over the past
couple of seasons- nobody that will wow
you, but a guy that can give the Reds six strong innings each time out. The
last time Leake had a quality outing he followed it up with his worst...
