Davis, Murphy, Thole and Parnell Among Mets Players Eligible For Arbitration

With the Mets discussion now shifting away from the field of play and onto the field of pay, everybody has something to say or report on the matter. Dickey beyond the 2013 season? How much money do the...

Should Mets Consider Bringing Mike Pelfrey Back?

Mike Pelfrey surfaced on the Mets’ radar yesterday when he showed up in St. Louis to participate in the team’s fantasy football draft. Pelfrey was shelved almost immediately and underwent Tommy John surgery, May 1. Most likely, he’ll be non-tendered in December because he’s arbitration eligible and made $5.6875 million this season. The rules state players must make at least...

Who are Sandy’s Potential Trade Targets This Winter?

With the season entering its last few weeks, there are few things left for Mets fans to be excited about. Of course there are exceptions such as Dickey’s run at the Cy Young award and getting to see some of the younger players, such as Jeurys Familia and Matt Harvey. The focus, for the most part, has now turned to the offseason and what Sandy Alderson plans on doing to improve...

R.A. Dickey set to become a children’s author
