Future of Phillies pitching is bright and Myerless

While currently a bit of a headache, the future of the Phillies starting rotation looks great. If Bastardo stays up and continues to be sick we'll have a complicated decision to make. Four lefties isn't going to sit well with Charlie Manuel. Moyer becomes the weakest (and it's weak man!) link. I would like to see Moyer enticed into a pitching coach position after he's done playing. It would be great to see Moyer helping Hamels work on his breaking balls. He'd also be an incredible personality to have around for our young staffers. Our system is seemingly teeming with talented young pitchers. We've seen Bastardo. Gotta love it. Other Right-handers at Lehigh include Kendrick 4-4 4.05ERA,Carpenter 3-0 3.29ERA , and Carasco 0-6 5.4ERA. Carasco is better than those numbers.IDK WTF is going on there. Reading features two very young but promising righties in Vance Worley 4-3 3.13ERA and Joe Savery 5-1 3.83ERA. We should see them elevated to the next level by years end. So where does all this leave Myers? Obviously there will be another vacancy with Moyer's retirement after this season (it sucks but c'mon, dude's done). Continued success with the farm system pitching might make resigning Myers pointless either through AAA promotion or trade. I'm not sure how I feel about Myers. My support wavers much in the same way as his ability. One thing I do know is I WANT MORE BASTARDO!
