San Francisco Giants rookie relief pitcher Jean Machi was just called up from Triple-A a few days ago, and wasted no time making a first impression on his teammates, although maybe not in the most conventional way.
Machi farted in the bullpen during Wednesday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, with the video evidence being the priceless reaction of teammate Jose Mijares, who was sitting next to Machi at the time he broke wind.
Looks like Machi might be setting himself up for some rookie hazing. We shall see.

WHO DEALT IT?
The Giants just called up Jean Machi on Wednesday, and it looks like the reliever is already becoming fast friends with Jose Mijares. Mijares just learned a brutal, sour lesson that the silent ones are always the deadliest. By the time the hot air had risen it was too late. We don’t think he’ll be sitting next to Machi in the bullpen anymore. And here’s more of the aftermath...
Alright, so which Giants pitcher did it? Was it Jose Mijares, who’s on the left and gets blamed for the fart, or was it Jean Machi, who was on the right and smelled it first?
The world may never find out.

Let's be honest, farting is pretty funny on all levels except for the person who smells it.
During last night's MLB tilt between Milwaukee Brewers and the San Francisco Giants, Giants relief pitcher Jean Machi appeared to let one rip in the San Francisco bullpen.
Watch the reaction of fellow relief pitcher Jose Mijares as he figures out who passed the gas:

The road trip started off promising as the San Francisco Giants were able to take three out of four games in Chicago. However, the Giants ran into a brick wall when they faced the Brewers. The G-men were swept right out of Milwaukee, and couldn’t be any happier to be back home. I’m sure some home cooking will be the cure tonight as the...
When it comes to what these guys can do on the mound they are alright, but Wednesday night it was the actual bullpen itself that stunk. Reliever Jean Machi channeled his inner child by letting one rip--yes, the man passed gas while sitting there among his teammates.
It must have been pretty bad; just check out Jose Mijares's reaction.
The San Francisco Giants weren’t able to keep Barry Zito‘s streak alive. This marks Zito’s first lost since August of 2012. He had 16 straight starts that resulted in a Giants win. It was an incredible streak, and he deserves a standing ovation in his next AT&T Park start!
Reliever Jeremy Affeldt is on the DL with a right oblique strain, and reliever...

Brandon Crawford – Hot

Homegrown product Brandon Crawford has been hitting lights out on this recent road trip for the Giants. His overall batting average is .352 but over the last seven games he has been hitting .478 while slugging .593 with two homers. Always been known for his defense, Crawford is now finally getting...
Angel Pagan hoped he would be in the batter's box with a chance to win the game. And, in this case, an opportunity to give the World Series champions some much-needed momentum.
He came through by lining a game-ending double to right field with one out in the ninth inning, and the San Francisco Giants returned from a rough road trip to beat the San Diego Padres 3-2 on Friday...
The wife of Hall of Famer Willie Mays, Mae Louise Allen Mays, has died. She was 74.
Mays announced his wife's death through the San Francisco Giants on Friday. The couple had been married 41 years after they met during his playing years in New York.
The team said Mrs. Mays died in her sleep Friday morning in the couple's Bay Area home after a long fight with Alzheimer&...
Few starting pitchers have been better than Madison Bumgarner thus far. There may not be one off to a worse start than Edinson Volquez.
Those two squaring off appears to give the San Francisco Giants a big edge Friday night at AT&T Park, as might their recent history against the San Diego Padres going into the season series opener between these NL West foes.
While the Padres...
