Every year, Major League Baseball delivers some unforgettable moments. Great catches, walk-off home runs, game-ending strike-outs, and amazing pitching performances. I’m sure all Oakland A’s fans will agree (and other fans as well) that Dallas Braden’s perfect game on Mother’s Day followed by his embrace with his grandmother is well-deserving of the award. In case you were in a coma or cryogenically frozen over the last year, Dallas Braden’s mother passed away when he was a senior in High School. His grandmother, Peggy Lindsey, raised him and steered him back towards baseball after he quit following his freshman year in High School.
