Braves’ first baseman Troy Glaus was named the National League’s Player of the Month on Wednesday after leading the league in rbi’s in May with 28 runs-batted-in.
The hot-hitting Glaus sparked the Braves to a 20-8 record and into first place in May, batting .330 with six homerun blasts, 17 runs scored, and the aforementioned 28 rbi’s in 28 games, while slugging at a .534 clip for the month.
I can’t think of a more deserving winner – Troy definitely had a GREAT month!
Congratulations to Troy on being named the National League’s Player of the Month!
