Hey Everybody. It’s been a while but I’m back to give us inspiration to take time to watch our beloved Padres tonight. The last week had been a rough one for myself and several of those with ties to San Diego. The death of Junior Seau was very shocking to me because Junior had always been a very positive influence in my adolescence. He represented hard work, determination, and joy. Making it all the more difficult was the death of Adam Yaught, “MCA” of the Beastie Boys, the group that provided the soundtrack of those same years.During times like these I like to look to sports to escape, so I turned to the Padres this last weekend. That didn’t go too well. I was pretty down the duration of the weekend.But then I remembered what everyone has asked me what I want to do today, my 34th birthday.
