The Texas Rangers' 11-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday was so bad, one player had to leave the game with a headache.

Josh Hamilton came out before the decisive bottom half of the fourth with blurry vision and a headache that club officials said was the product of a sinus issue. Hamilton was 0-for-1 with a walk in the game.

The Rangers were leading 3-1 going to the bottom of the fourth when Leonys Martin replaced Hamilton in center field. The Rangers allowed eight runs in the half-inning, seven of them scoring before the Angels recorded an extra-base hit.

Hamilton was not available in the clubhouse following the game. The Rangers don't believe the issue is serious, but manager Ron Washington said the outfielder would be re-evaluated Wednesday.

Hamilton has played 138 games this season, the second-highest total of his career, and he has stayed off the disabled list for the first time since 2008, when he appeared in a career-high 155 games. Hamilton, who can be a free agent after the season, has hit a career-high 42 homers and has 123 RBI, seven shy of his career high in that department, too.

If Hamilton is unavailable Wednesday, the Rangers are likely to go with Craig Gentry, a right-handed hitter, against Angels lefty C.J. Wilson. Martin, who made a throw to the wrong base in the fourth, is a left-handed hitter.
