On a per-game basis, Josh Hamilton is an elite fantasy player, which seems to be a theme for the Rangers’ outfield (re: Nelson Cruz). In his five years, Hamilton has played in 120 games three times, hitting at least .298 all three years, 32 home runs twice, 100 RBI twice, 95 runs twice and eight steals twice. If he meets all of those numbers he’s easily a top 20 player...

Left-hander Neal Cotts has agreed to a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers. Cotts, who appeared in all four World Series games for the Chicago White Sox in 2005, hasn't pitched professionally since having ligament-replacement surgery in July 2009. The Rangers announced the signing Monday and said the 31-year-old will be in their minor league camp.
