Down to three starters, the Minnesota Twins are putting their rotation together a day at a time. Liam Hendriks, who was recalled from Class AAA Rochester late Thursday, will be officially activated for Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Target Field. "He's been told. He'll be here (Friday)," manager Ron Gardenhire said. "He'll be in uniform (Friday) kind of hanging out." Hendriks, 23, went 5-0 with a 1.94 ERA in seven starts for Rochester after he was demoted in early May. He was 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in four starts for Minnesota early this season. With P.J. Walters and Carl Pavano on the disabled list because of shoulder injuries, the Twins were down to three starters this week. They had their best, lefty Scott Diamond, going Thursday against the Phillies but lost when Jim Thome hit his second homer in as many days to power a 6-1 Philadelphia victory.
