After dropping the first game against Hernandez, 11-4, the Sox managed to take the next 3. Game 2 was an exchange of punches. Both teams combined for 13 runs in the first 3 innings, with the M;s coming out on top during that time, 7-6. Allen Webster and Hisashi Iwakuma were knocked out in 2 1/3 and 3 innings, respectively. The Sox were able to continue the tear over the following innings, holding the 11-8 lead to the end. The Sox got homers from Bradley, Napoli, Victorino, Pedroia, and Ortiz. Game 3 featured a more convincing win for the Sox, as they scored 11 runs for the second straight game, and holding Seattle to 4. Dempster and Ramirez gave us another crap show on the mound, with Dempster going 3 1/3, and Ramirez going 4 2/3. Of course it was another high scoring game, but this one went to extra frames. Daniel Nava came up with the winning hit in the 10th to give the Sox the series victory. This time Laser Show: David Ortiz & John Lackey David Ortiz killed the Mariners during their last meeting. Papi went 8-for-13, with 2 home runs, and 2 RBI. His average is climbing (.329), and will take over the top spot on the team in this series. As far as John Lackey, it is just a guess. The Sox need a big outing from him and I have a good feeling he will deliver. Pitch Around: Raul Ibanez I told the Sox to watch out for him last time, and they didn't listen. It is easy to strike him out, but they didn't do it last time. If they are going to give him something to hit, I'd rather they just walk him, he's not going to steal any bases.  Don't Fall Behind: Felix Hernandez Duh. How we see it goin' down The Sox will win the first two, fairly easily, but not game 3. I find it hard to believe Ryan Dempster will out-pitch Felix Hernandez.
