Last time

The Red Sox lost 2-of-3 to the Rays on Memorial Day weekend at Fenway Park.  Jon Lester gave up 3 home runs in the game 1 loss, one of them a grand slam to Matt Joyce. The Sox won their only game of the series on Saturday by way of a Salty walk-off 2-run homer. Alfredo Aceves blew his third save of the season in the final game to hand the Rays the series victory.

Why not. Ortiz was one of the best offensive players in the majors in the first half. Why not carry it over and help the Sox redeem themselves.
Pitch Around At: Luke Scott

I think I can speak for all Red Sox fans when I say I hate this guy. He has not made it a secret that he hates the Red Sox and everything/everyone associated with them. The Sox should pitch him high and tight...every time.

Don't Fall Behind: All 3 starters 

I feel like I have used this a lot lately, but the Sox have seen some pretty good starting rotations this season. This is not going to help the Sox get back on track. Jason Vargas may give the Sox the best shot at winning in this series, but he is still a tough pitcher. I don't know if the Sox will have what it takes to crack these guys.

How we see it goin' down

This is not the way the Red Sox want to start the second half. The Rays have not played their best baseball as of late, but they are still a very good team. They have the advantage on the mound which trumps the Sox' advantage at the plate. The Sox lineup will beginning to return to the form we are used to, but it will take time. The Rays will take 2-of-3 in the series and we will all go back to being pissed off at the Red Sox.
