Nationals pitcher Matt Chico is healthy and ready for spring training - The PostI admit it, I completely forgot about Matt Chico, the lefty who led the Washington Nationals in starts in 2007. Since then, he has had Tommy John surgery after tearing a ligament in early 2008. While the article does not say he is in the "best shape of his life" Chico suggests that this is the best he has felt in a long time. His fastball got up to 93 MPH in the minors last year. Also, with a newborn and a 16 month old at home, Chico has bloodshot eyes, raccoon rings and a slow, zombie shuffle. Frankly, that's how I remember him in 2007.
