Right-handed pitcher Ian Snell is considering coming out of his brief retirement his agent says, Evan Drellich of MLB.com reports.

“He told the world he's retiring, and that's what we thought was going to happen,” Snell's agent Joe Sroba said Friday.

The 29-year-old's plans could be made within a week and a return to the St. Louis Cardinals is a possibility.
