The Cleveland Indians got their big guys to step up to help take down Justin Verlander and his Detroit Tigers. The Indians were down 3-1 in the seventh inning when Carlos Santana stepped up to the plate to start a rally that would send the Indians into the lead by the time the smoke cleared. Santana sent a blast over the right field wall. Just like that the flame was lit, Travis Hafner cane to the plate and hit a home run over the right center field wall. The Tigers and the mighty Justin Verlenader could feel the momentum shifting. The Indians weren’t done there, Asdrubal Cabrera singled to right and Lopez scored and now the Indians took the lead over Detroit 4-3. The Indians would bat around in the 7th, Jason Kipnis who battled Verlander all night long came to the plate and reached on an infield hit and Choo would score.
