ARLINGTON, Texas The Texas Rangers got some good news on the injury front one night after seeing three players leave the game in a 5-2 victory over Cleveland.
An MRI on the left shoulder of Adrian Beltre revealed no structural damage but slight inflammation. He is not in the starting lineup Thursday and is listed as day-to-day.
Josh Hamilton, who left the game with a sore left knee, got an injection in the knee after Wednesday's game. He is not in the starting lineup Thursday either but is expected to play Friday when the Rangers open a series against Seattle.
Third baseman Mike Olt, who replaced Beltre before getting hurt himself, has plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He is seeing a specialist but is expected to miss at least 10 to 14 days.
