When the Indians Started spring training, I was all for giving Shelley Duncan the chance to start in Left Field for the Indians. After all, Duncan’s bat was on fire last season, he came to spring training and his bat was still working well. Today when the Indians finished their series with the Houston Astros, Duncan blew the chance to catch what looked like a routine fly ball to left field. Duncan didn’t even make a serous effort to get to the baseball. I don’t know if Duncan was afraid of missing the ball and having it go behind him or just couldn’t make a sliding catch. Either way, it is time for the Cleveland Indians to make a move to improve left field. The Tribe has given Duncan a chance to show what he can do, Duncan hasn’t done much. He is hitting have watched as Duncan went 2 for 20 in his last ten games. Duncan is hitting a miserable .191 and we are in the later part of June. If the Indians want to make a run for the A.L. Central they need someone in left field that can pro...
