I know that's a strange question, especially after Josh Hamilton hit into a double play with the bases loaded in the first inning on Tuesday. But the numbers show a guy improving, though his average is just .239. He was hitting .220 after Aug. 2. In eight games, he's managed to increase his average by 19 points. He's done it by batting .379 (11-for-22) in his last eight games. That include five multi-hit games. Hamilton has five walks and five strikeouts in that span. No, he's not hitting the ball for power consisently. But I think that will come. I think Hamilton is ready for a solid end to the 2009 season. Do you agree? What do you expect from him the rest of the way? Should he go back to the No. 3 spot soon?
