Eddie Kunz might be making Omar's job a lot easy but not in a way that will make the young reliever happy. Coming off an eight run implosion in his last outing, Kunz was once again shaky (ERA 12.79). Last night with an eight run cushion, Kunz took over in the ninth and allowed a run on two hits and two walks. While that's a drastic improvement over his last outing it's still not going to make anyone think he's even close to ready for the majors, let's face it the Arizona Fall league is a far cry from the pros. If Kunz had dominated the fall league, with the supporting relievers the Mets have I could see Omar justifying taking a pass on K-Rod or Fuentes......Ayala, Stokes, Sanchez all can be set-up men, Parnell looks like he could be a solid reliever and then the team could sign a Juan Cruz, Brandon Lyon or Will Ohman level guy with Feliciano returning and the pen could be set, if Kunz was ready. But none of the others appear to be legitimate closers and with Kunz...
