The Last time Cole pitched in Atlanta it didn't exactly go real well for Mr. Hamels. He gave up seven earned runs on nine hits en route to an 11-1 beating at the hands of the Braves. That was back on July 1st and Cole has gone 3-2 since then but his last two outings have not been of the confidence building variety. With Cliff Lee stepping into the role of this teams ace and absolutely dominating -- not to mention Joe Blanton manning up -- if Cole can find his groove and get things right, the top of this rotation can be scary. Banking on Cole for an impressive performance these days isn't exactly far from a sure thing.

The Phillies will face Kenshin Kawakami who pitched well against the Phils in his lone start against them this year way back in early May, going six innings and allowing two earned on the way to a Bravos win.

When Ryan Howard went opposite field against the Cubs at Wrigley for his first home run in August, the Phillies and fans alike were hoping it could be a sign of The Big Guy returning to HR form. He was the hero last night with the game winner in the ninth.

First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 pm from Hotlanta.

Come on, Cole.
