Well it appears the Jason Bartlett rumors are quiet for the moment. San Francisco signed Miguel Tejada to a 1 year deal right after the Dodgers signed Juan Uribe. Both clubs won’t be looking for a short stop at the present time, but there is always a chance they could make a move later.
The Cardinals and San Diego remain active on the rumor trail still though. The Cards recently traded for 2nd baseman/short stop Ryan Theriot from the Dodgers, so it appears as well they are not in the Bartlett race. The Padres may be active for him and don’t count out Baltimore either, but for the moment things are quiet, as least until the winter meeting starting next week.
