In case you’re late on the uptake, Jay-Z — Hova himself — joined the world of professional athlete representation. Yes, Mr. Beyonce Knowles has become a sports agent. And he already has an impressive stable of clients under his belt, including Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano and Skylar Diggins. Word is now that Jay-Z is trying to add Yasiel Puig to his clientele at Roc Nation Sports, and he’s even reportedly trying to woo Yoenis Cespedes, as well. From Yahoo!’s Jeff Passan: Jay-Z also is known to be interested in signing another Cuban baseball player, Oakland A’s outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, according to a source. Next week, Cespedes will be in New York, Jay-Z’s hometown, for the Home Run Derby, and Puig could be as well if he wins the Final Vote for the last slot on the National League All-Star team.
