It’s alive! Rising from the slumbers of the Canadian winter (well, to be fair, it is still the middle of the miserable winter), it’s time to take a look at what the Jays have done since Jose Bautista completed his league leading, 54 home run campaign. It still feels a little weird that I just finished that sentence, but I digress…
Personnel changes are abound with the big club, as GM Alex Anthopolous have been busy. There’s a new coach, John Farrell, fresh off his stint as a pitching coach with the Boston Yankees Red Sox. This is the first step to a new approach for the club, now into the 2nd rebuilding season, also known as 2 A.D. (After Doc). Farrell and AA have both indicated that the team will adopt a more consistent offense approach, which merely means that in 2011, not every Toronto player will be swinging for the fences at every at bat.
Hopefully, this approach will help Adam Lind and Aaron Hill regain their swings. As nice as it was that they hit thei...
